Marketing Manager

Our rapidly growing national business is looking for a full-time Marketing Manager to join our successful team based in Ipswich.  As the business grows there will be future opportunities to relocate to our regional offices if desired.

The Principals of Universal started in private practice over twenty years ago and have helped thousands of clients across the country to protect their families. Today they operate a multi-disciplinary practice that brings the skills of Solicitors, Accountants, Chartered Tax Advisors and Chartered Financial Planners together under one roof to provide a holistic range of traditional and specialist estate and tax planning solutions to clients nationwide.

Purpose of Role

You will be key to help promote and develop our brand within the market place. You will get involved and project manage a number of marketing campaigns and support us with our very successful ‘Keep it in the Family Seminars’ which are held throughout the country. We will offer you the chance to take responsibility from the very beginning and to actively shape the future of our growing business, creating a national brand.

In this role you will report to the Head of Marketing. 

You will be responsible for:

  • Creating, managing and delivering successful integrated marketing campaigns for all off-line marketing activities.

  • The promotion and organisation of our extensive seminar and trade stand calendar.

  • Supporting the design and roll-out of all digital marketing campaigns.

  • Creative contributions to support creating a national brand.

  • Deputising for the Head of Marketing as required.

Hours of Work

  • Monday to Friday 09:00hrs – 17:30hrs

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be someone who has a genuine interest in marketing.

  • Ideally a degree in either Marketing or a CIM Diploma level qualification.

  • A good understanding of what goes into attention grabbing, creative design.

  • A solid portfolio of previous work and examples of successful campaigns.

  • Basic skills in Photoshop and/or Indesign.

  • Previous professional services experience desirable but not essential.

  • Previous experience working for products which target homeowners 55+ desirable.

  • Previous people management experience.

  • Qualified project manager desirable.
