Graphic Designer

Our rapidly growing national business is looking for a full-time Graphic Designer to join our successful Marketing team based in Ipswich.

The Principals of Universal started in private practice over twenty years ago and have helped thousands of clients across the country to protect their families. Today they operate a multi-disciplinary practice that brings the skills of Solicitors, Accountants, Chartered Tax Advisors and Chartered Financial Planners together under one roof to provide a holistic range of traditional and specialist estate and tax planning solutions to clients nationwide.

Purpose of Role

You will be responsible for developing and producing marketing and creative concepts that help promote  our brand within the market place. You will get involved and support us with our very successful ‘Keep it in the Family Seminars’ which are held throughout the country. We will offer you the chance to take responsibility from the very beginning and to actively shape the future of our growing business, creating a national brand.

In this role you will report to the Head of Marketing. 

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing creative content for brochures, catalogues, product packaging & POS, exhibition graphics, website, advertising and banners, email and social media posts, customer presentations and short product videos

  • Creating visual designs and developing print adverts for publications and customer brochures

  • Managing images, videos and web banners for the company website

  • Developing templates, banners and visuals for the company website, customer e-shots and social media posts

  • Supporting on the planning and implementation of customer events and trade exhibitions


Hours of Work

  • Monday to Friday 09:00hrs – 17:30hrs

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be someone who has a flair for creative design and a passion for delivering unique and bespoke campaigns.

  • Excellent design and image editing skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat Professional

  • Knowledge and experience of social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Well organised with the ability to juggle different tasks at one time, including hitting critical deadlines

  • ‘Can do’ attitude and the desire to get involved in many different activities and projects

  • An extensive portfolio of work that they can exhibit at the interview
